In a country like The Netherlands more than 2 billion kilos of food is thrown away every year. A large part of this is thrown away by medium sized and large companies such as restaurants and hotels. By converting waste into green gas and using this biogas as input to a fuel cell yielding electrical and thermal energy, we have created a extremely efficient way of going from waste to clean energy. The remaining Bio Methane can be used to power Light Commercial Vehicles, Cars and City Buses hence creating a full circular process.
